Stark Selfies to Combat Cancer

It may not have slipped your attention that social media feeds were filling up with ‘no-makeup selfies’ in a bid to raise money for Cancer Research UK. It seems as though everyone had a go at pointing the lens, with the oldest Brits to tweet a photo and donate having a combined age of 174! Consumers Flock for Furniture

Towards the end of 2013 we spoke about how consumers were starting to feel a little more confident about spending their hard earned money. Now recent figures suggest that thanks to the recent surge in the housing market, sales of furniture, flooring and home accessories have been fuelled. Total UK retail spending has increased overall by 5.4%, with like-for like sales growing 3.9% compared to January 2013.
