A few thoughts and ponderings from the Simpler PR team that we just couldn’t keep to ourselves…

Back to school!

Well it had to happen I suppose… the children had to get back to school eventually! I remember the confused feelings I experienced as a child when the school holidays came to an end. My reminiscenses have focused my mind on just how fast time flies and just how cyclical our lives are. This thought has made me more determined than ever to enjoy life and to spend time doing what I love with the people I love!  I love working in PR, especially in the lifestyle and interiors sector in which we specialise. I feel privilaged to work with and for some amazing […]

From the ridiculous to the sublime!!!

I recently joined the growing band of happy campers (I would like to say glampers but that would be far from the truth!) taking my two children (8 and 5) camping for the weekend. Having promised the trip and counting “sleeps” (5 year old!) the forecast of wall-to-wall rain didn’t deter us “please mummy, please mummy….” so off we went – with our brand new tent and waterproofs and wellies. As a lifestlye Public Relations Agency we feel it is important to have a website which reflects current trends but also tells a story. We think that we have achieved this with our new site – we certainly hope so! We also wanted to create an approachable site which gives an insight into […]

Very busy few weeks here at Simpler PR!

At Simpler PR we have had a very busy few weeks. Watching England in their only World Cup victory at Chelsea (that was a fab afternoon!), lunch at The Ivy and more (both literally and metaphorically) soberly at The Sheerluxe B2B conference at Fulham Town Hall. The great thing about PR is the networking opportunity it affords, and as a team of sociable “girls” (I use the term loosely!) this is a great job. Justifying the expense and resource of networking and entertaining to my accountant is sometimes very difficult, but the last few weeks have shown me just how […]
